SUMMARY:CT Optimization in Hybrid Imaging
DESCRIPTION:Hybrid Imaging\, SPECT/CT and PET/CT encompasses not only the well-known nuclear medicine cameras (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography\, SPECT and Positron Emission Tomography\, PET) but also the CT-camera (Computed Tomography\, CT)\, which can be used as a device to determine the attenuation of the radiation emitted from the radiopharmaceutical within the patient making it possible to perform a thorough attenuation correction\, and to localise the radiation sources within the patient. Using the CT for this purpose\, the radiation dose can be kept at a lower level. There is however also the possibility to use the CT for diagnostic purposes\, resulting in radiological images with considerably increased image quality. Using the CT also for diagnostic purposes will add significantly to the radiation dose of the patient. The justification and optimization process of the CT-imaging is always important but especially when using the CT also for diagnostic purpose. This webinar will focus on the optimization process of Hybrid Imaging with special attention to the CT. \n\n\n\nLearning Objectives: The aim of this webinar is to highlight the optimization process of the CT in order to avoid unecessary radiation dose to the patient. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSave yourself a FREE seatEnter the eLearning store to register for the course. SUMMARY:Role of FDG-PET in Paediatric Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas
DESCRIPTION:UEMS EACCME has granted the accreditation of 8 CME credits for this event. \n\n\n\nA large oncological framework will be the topic of the first session: three lectures by a high quoted Paediatric Oncologist: epidemiology\, aetiological factors\, and general classification of Paediatric Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin Lymphomas and main therapeutic strategies and prognostic considerations. The two valuable nuclear medicine experts will discuss the role of molecular imaging in paediatric lymphomas: staging and therapeutic management\, the importance of the imaging-based assessment\, the role of Deauville classification\, prognostic aspects\, surveillance\, and the management of recurrent/treatment resistant forms in PHL and NHL. Current state of experimental tracers research. Future perspectives: novel radiotracers\, evaluation of rare entities and advanced image analysis. \n\n\n\nMany case readings will be presented to the attendees to train them in interpreting and concluding 18FDG in the crucial assessment point into diagnostic- therapeutic PHL and NHL protocols. \n\n\n\nEach attendee is also asked to present a personal tricky case\, proposed to the experts and to the other attendees. This allows better communication among the attendees and a more interactive practical session. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSave yourself a seatThe registration is closed. Two interactive sessions with a lot of case reading to train the attendees in the evaluation\, interpretation and comparison of 18FDG-PET-CT.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProgrammeClick to view the preliminary programme View the Programme\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFaculty\n\n\n\n\n\nMarta PillonSpeakerItaly \n\n\n\n\n\nPinar KiratliSpeakerTürkiye \n\n\n\n\n\nFrancesco FizSpeakerItaly \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Details\n\n\n\nRegistration FeeMode of PaymentCancellation Policy\n\nCourse Fee               € 950.- \n\n\n\nRegistration Fee includes: \n\n\n\n\nElectronic Course Book\, including all Slides\n\n\n\nCoffee Breaks on each Course Day\n\n\n\nLunch on first Course Day\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Fee does NOT include: \n\n\n\n\nTravel to the Venue\n\n\n\nAccommodation\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration fees need to be paid 1 week prior to the event.
