SUMMARY:JSNM/ESMIT - SPECT and PET in the Contemporary Assessment of Cardiac Amyloidosis
DESCRIPTION:This joint webinar will provide a focused and clinically relevant overview of the role of nuclear medicine in the evaluation of cardiac amyloidosis. The first lecture will address the established value of bone-avid tracer SPECT/CT for non-invasive diagnosis\, including acquisition strategy\, image interpretation\, common pitfalls and integration with the broader diagnostic work-up. The second lecture will explore the evolving contribution of PET\, highlighting tracer biology\, quantitative opportunities\, disease characterization and the potential role of PET for earlier detection and treatment monitoring.
