SUMMARY:Cardiac Amyloidosis Imaging: History\, Status Quo and Outlook
DESCRIPTION:This course provides a comprehensive overview of the multimodality diagnosis of cardiac amyloidosis. Background information on amyloidosis in general is presented and typical disease manifestations are discussed. Furthermore\, the significance of cardiac amyloidosis will be discussed in detail and possible therapeutic options will be explained. Imaging modalities will include a focus on echocardiography\, cardiac MRI\, SPECT\, and PET\, with discussion of the various tracers available. It will be elaborated when which of the different imaging modalities can be used appropriately and multimodality concepts will also be discussed. The course content will be developed using numerous case examples. Furthermore\, the course participants should solve cases independently and discuss them with the other course participants. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister nowRegistrations are closed.
