DESCRIPTION:The course aims to provide the participants with basic knowledge regarding nuclear and molecular medical imaging in the neurological field. Register now\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLearning Objectives\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nClinical introduction and positioning where imaging is indicated: The aim is to understand the main indications of cerebral SPET and PET methods and the patient’s preparation before the examination.\n\n\n\nPrimer course: how to read a brain SPECT study: the aim is to understand how to acquire\, reconstruct\, format and read a perfusion and receptorial brain SPET and SPET/CT. The main clinical patterns will also be presented.\n\n\n\nPrimer course: how to read an FDG-PET brain study: the aim is to understand how to acquire\, reconstruct\, format and read an FDG  brain PET/CT. The main clinical patterns will also be presented.\n\n\n\nPeer-learning with tips and tricks\, and case presentation: the aim is to understand how to acquire\, reconstruct\, format and read a perfusion and receptorial brain SPET and SPET/CT.
