SUMMARY:NucMed Essentials - Artifical Intelligence Basics
DESCRIPTION:This course is not yet available\, but coming soon! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nArtificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the landscape of nuclear medicine\, enhancing image analysis\, improving diagnostic accuracy\, optimizing treatment planning\, and streamlining patient management. As AI-driven technologies continue to evolve\, nuclear medicine professionals must develop a strong foundational understanding of AI concepts to effectively integrate these advancements into clinical practice. \n\n\n\nThis online course\, “Essentials of AI for Nuclear Medicine\,” provides a structured introduction to AI\, covering key topics such as machine learning (ML)\, deep learning (DL)\, and cutting-edge AI approaches\, including generative AI. Participants will gain insights into how AI algorithms work\, their applications in nuclear medicine imaging and theranostics\, and the practical challenges associated with implementing AI in a clinical setting. \n\n\n\nThe course introduces fundamental AI principles\, including supervised and unsupervised learning\, neural networks\, convolutional neural networks (CNNs)\, transformer-based architectures\, and generative models such as GANs and diffusion models. Special emphasis will be placed on AI’s role in PET and SPECT imaging\, lesion detection\, segmentation\, dosimetry\, and radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT). \n\n\n\nDesigned for nuclear medicine physicians\, medical physicists\, technologists\, and researchers\, this course bridges the gap between AI and clinical applications\, empowering participants to critically understand AI tools and leverage AI-driven technologies in their daily practice. Through six hours of online lectures\, attendees will gain the knowledge and confidence to navigate the evolving intersection of AI and nuclear medicine effectively. Medicine\,” is designed to provide nuclear medicine professionals with a fundamental understanding of AI concepts\, including machine learning (ML)\, deep learning (DL)\, and emerging AI technologies such as generative AI. The course will bridge the gap between AI and clinical practice\, empowering participants to integrate AI solutions into their workflow. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration will be open soonThe link to register will be available shortly.
